El CDTI organiza el mayor evento en España Open EUREKA Innovation Week. (contenido en Ingles)

The Open EUREKA Innovation Week is an opportunity for you to meet, share and discuss ideas with approximately 1,000 stakeholders from European industry. SMEs, academia, policymakers, representatives from funding agencies and public authorities and many more

EUREKA is a publicly-funded, intergovernmental network, involving over 40 countries. EUREKA's aim is to enhance European competitiveness by fostering technological innovation-driven entrepreneurship in Europe, between small and large industry, research institutes and universities.

It is a leading open platform for international cooperation in innovation and remains to this day the only initiative of its kind committed to the ‘bottom-up'principle - ensuring that any R&D project with a good business plan receives the support it deserves, independent of its technological nature, or the type of organisations involved.

Spanish Chairmanship of EUREKA

Spain is a EUREKA founding member country taking over the network's chairmanship for the third time. The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) is a Spanish public organization, under the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Innovation, whose objective is to help Spanish companies to increase their technological profile. CDTI manages the Spanish participation in EUREKA

Open EUREKA

To pave the way to evolve EUREKA into a global initiative beyond Europe, for the competitiveness of its Member Countries, a smart approach to Globalization Approach is necessary, using a step by step process (GlobalStars, Association, Full Membership) within an internationalization strategy, under the principle of activating a strong project generation by the wide EUREKA Network, with the final aim of positioning EUREKA as the utmost adequate tool for the industry to cooperate at global level, accessing more easily new markets and fresh talent.

The Open EUREKA Innovation Week 2017. Sharing Technology!

The Innovation Week is the major event organized annually within the EUREKA Chairmanship. Spain, as Chair of EUREKA between July 2016 and June 2017 will focus the Innovation Week on activating the Open EUREKA principle.

The OEIW is a free of charge open forum to all R&D&I stakeholders organized as a marketplace on smart technological innovation. It offers a meeting point and workspace on international technological cooperation to more than 40 countries from Europe and beyond.

Along the week several activities will take place: keynote speeches, presentations, B2B meetings, projects exhibition, pitches by the innovation award finalists, and more...
